Definition

From Wikipedia: "In heraldry, an armiger is a person entitled to use a heraldic achievement (e.g., bear arms, an "armour-bearer") either by hereditary right, grant, matriculation, or assumption of arms. Such a person is said to be armigerous."

Usage in the Republic

Armigers in the Republic are generally Nobile, Eques, Ministers, Great Houses, and individual deemed worthy as Grandi.

In order to obtain a heraldic achievement, an Armiger will consult with the College of Arms via a consulting Herald in order to register their arms.
