Ministry References
Here you will find the manuals and directives as published by the Ministries to be used as guidance for officers and references for established Republic policies on operations. Also collectively known as Codes of Governance.
Directives are written by the executive leadership to give guidance to Ministries and their Officers in order to shape the way the Republic operates on a daily and long term basis. Ministers are responsible for implementing Republic policy and carrying out day to day operations in a combination of guidance from the executive leadership and the resolutions of the Senate as adopted by the Doge and the Prime Minister in the Doge's absence.
Manuals are established practices that have been developed by past and present Ministers to form a continuity of government and detail day to day functions of officers. Sometimes the executive guidance in the form of directives absorbs the material developed in the manuals by the Ministers becoming robust enough that manuals are no longer necessary for that topic or position.
