Overview
The Ministry of War is tasked with managing the Professional Military of the Republic and training and equipping the Militia Reserve. The Minister of War leads the Ministry and works with the other Ministers and Signoria to develop strategy and enact any actions required of the armed forces of the Republic.
Officers
Commissioned Officers
- Captain - Senior Officers of the military often in command of a Company or Battalion.
- Lieutenant - Junior Officers of the military typically in command of a Company.
Non-Commissioned Officers
- First Sergeant, Staff Sergeant or Cohort Sergeant - Senior NCOs representing the highest level of enlisted professional
- Sergeant - Mainstay NCOs in charge of a Line
- Lance Corporal - Junior NCOs in charge of a Lance
Junior Enlisted
- Lancespada - Junior enlisted rank denoting veterancy
- Guardsman - Initial enlisted rank once graduating basic training
