A Cadet House is an offshoot of a Great House and may become a Great House in its own right in time. Typically, Great Houses are owned by Nobile Majore or Greater Nobles while Cadet Houses are owned by Nobile Minore representing a steady growth and smooth transition as new nobles rise.
