A Barony is generally a smaller geographic area than a County, but considered on the same "tier" organizationally as both Counts and Barons report directly to the Duke.

A County will have multiple fiefdoms and baronetcies subordinate to it, while a Barony may only consist of itself with a single fiefdom or baronetcy within its borders.
