The National System of the Republic consists of a Federated hierarchy of governmental elements. In contrast to a [[Province System]] which consists of partially autonomous regions, a National System utilizes a central government that issues policy and decisions to subordinate entities acting in concert. Provinces are semi-independent and maintain their own cadre of officers to help run the daily operations of government.

The National System can also be thought of as the Flagship chapter or focus of the Republic while the Provinces are branches. The National System sets overall policy that impacts the Provinces while each Province is able to self-determine localized policies for that specific branch.

Each Province can act as a microcosm of the larger National System.
