Following the campaigns in [[Yssam]] the tides of war turned against the [[Kingdom of Hyperion]] with the whole of the server rising against it following disinformation and propaganda campaigns. The counter alliance to Hyperion eventually pushed the Kingdom off of the main continent save for the Republic in [[Gulghat]]. The Republic held out with a minimal garrison for multiple sieges against the hordes of assailants. Bolstered by remnants of several allied forces, the defenders pushed back against massive odds. Those who defended the city were named the Griffons of Gulghat, for which the second highest martial [[award]] for individual achievement is named.
