Orders in the Republic are simplistic hierarchical entities. They can be religious or mundane in nature. The Ordo d'Argento is the classic example of a Silver Sun Order having taken on multiple forms from a religious cult to a knightly order.
The Silver Sun Republic was originally founded as the Order of the Silver Sun.
