Overview

The College of Arms, more specifically known as the Consulta Araldica is tasked with overseeing the creation and registration of the heraldic arms of those who have been granted the right to bear them by the Crown of Hyperion or the Doge/Duke of the Republic. Those who have been awarded the right to display arms are known as Armigers and earn that right through the virtue of their social rank or as awarded by one who has the right to do so. These individuals are described as armigerous.

The College also registers and tracks Awards and orders of precedence.

The Executive Ministry oversees the College of Arms.

Positions

  • Heralds are the primary officers who create and register heraldic arms as part of the college or as freelance artists
  • Pursuivants are junior heralds in training who are not qualified to submit their own consultations without first having a herald review them before submission to the College of Heraldry
