Resolution

From Silver Sun Republic Codex

Resolutions can be binding or non-binding depending upon the purpose of the measure and the powers of the body who passes it. The Pregadi or popular assembly can only pass non-binding resolutions that may be adopted by the Senate/Signoria and passed along as binding or non-binding to the Ministries or the Doge. The Doge or Prime Minister are afforded veto powers in certain situations and depending upon the circumstances under which the resolution was passed.

Additional information regarding the powers of the various bodies can be found under the Constitution. Additionally, the Doge can ask the various bodies for their input to be passed via resolution.
